Red Swastika School is proud to be one of Singapore’s Special Assistance Plan (SAP) primary schools, dedicated to nurturing bilingual and bicultural students who are immersed in the Chinese language and culture, grounded in values and equipped with a global outlook.

卍慈学校作为新加坡特选课程小学之一，致力于培育具备双语双文化素养、良好品格与全球视野的学生。

Objectives 目标

1. Appreciate Culture 识文化
   Provide a bilingual and bicultural environment that develops learners who appreciate the Chinese culture and can communicate effectively using both English Language and Chinese Language;
   营造双语双文化的学习环境，培养学生欣赏中华文化，并能有效运用英语和华语进行沟通。

2. Rooted in Nation 系祖国
   Develop learners who appreciate cultural diversity in Singapore, thus contributing effectively and meaningfully towards nation building; and.
   培养学生欣赏新加坡多元文化的特色，并能积极地为国家建设作出贡献。

3. Understand the World 知天下
   Develop learners who have a global outlook.
   培养具备国际视野的学生。

Our Key Programmes/Activities重点项目

Tier 1:
All students participate in broad-based SAP programmes comprising SAP assemblies, SAP theatre recess fringe activities, festival celebrations, quizzes and intra-school learning activities. These activities are designed to deepen students’ appreciation of the Chinese Language, Chinese culture, local and global cultures and customs.
在卍慈，我们希望通过艺术的熏陶，让学生多接触中华文化和本土文化，并为学生开拓视野，帮助他们更广泛地了解世界和不同的文化传统。因此学校每年会庆祝农历新年、端午节和中秋节，卍慈文化小讲堂休息活动，还会主办不同类型的中华文化周会和活动。这些活动和表演形式多样化，包含戏剧、相声、华族舞蹈、木头剧、华乐、京剧、游戏、展览等等。每一场活动和演出加深学生的印象，并且让他们从中学习更多的中华文化的知识。

Tier 2:
Customised, level-specific SAP enrichment programmes are designed using a thematic approach at each level. Through engaging classroom experiences, students explore Chinese culture alongside Singapore’s multicultural heritage. Over six years, they are immersed in Chinese literature and history, deepening their understanding and appreciation. Enrichment is anchored in the traditional domains of qin, qi, shu, and hua, through which students experience Chinese chess, painting, bean art, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), and the values of Di Zi Gui. Cultural camps further enrich learning through immersive, hands-on experiences, making cultural education meaningful and enjoyable.
在卍慈，学校为各年级设计主题式的特选增益课程，通过课堂活动引导学生认识中华文化，并欣赏新加坡多元文化。在六年的学习中，学生系统接触中华文学与历史，加深理解与认同。课程以“琴、棋、书、画”为主轴，涵盖象棋、水墨画、豆艺创作、中医知识及《弟子规》的品德教育。文化营通过沉浸式体验进一步深化学习，使文化课程更具意义与趣味。

Tier 3:
Selected P5 and P6 students participate in the school peak excellence programme that caters to deep and extensive learning of the Chinese Language and culture. Students have the opportunities to participate in overseas immersion trips or SAP Scholar programme with our China and Taiwan twinning schools and also assume the role as SAP ambassadors.
在卍慈，我们的旗舰课也致力于培育精通双语、热爱中华文化与本土文化的学生。对中华文化有着浓厚兴趣的高年级学生，学校也为他们营造机会开拓视野，让学生有机会与其他国家的学生互动，通过交流了解其他国家的文化，认识世界。
